The cost for a permanent search will vary based on account volume and compensation level of the position we are hired to fill, but typically our fee is between 25% and 30% of the first year's compensation.

For interim search, our fee is a flat $3,500 per month, or $1,750 if we are also retained to conduct the permanent search.

How long will it take until I have someone hired?

The time frame for successfully completing a search will vary based on several factors, including the position, location and market factors. Typical timeframes are 90 to 120 days.

What kind of background checks do you provide?

Every candidate we present has references checked, credentials verified, and is compared against the Office of the Inspector General list of sanctioned individuals. We can also provide a drug screen, driving record screen or criminal background check for an additional fee. However, these types of background checks are typically performed by our clients based on their requirements by law.

What if I am not satisfied with an employee placed by Morgan Hunter HealthSearch?

Our permanent placement guarantee is one year.

What kind of jobs do you fill?

Morgan Hunter HealthSearch recruits exclusively for leadership positions within the healthcare industry, typically department directors through CEO.

Why should I use your service instead of filling the position on my own?

  • Access to a broader pool of candidates. Search firms have access to candidates that are not actively seeking new opportunities and thus, are not reviewing job advertisements.
  • Brings a level of objectivity and transparency to the process, especially if there are internal candidates.
  • Dedicated recruitment staff to your project.
  • Confidentiality.
  • To save time and money. The real cost of handling a search on your own is not only the hours spent creating and posting advertisements, reviewing resumes, and interviewing candidates, but also the loss of production in your “normal” duties while handling the search.
  • Our healthcare-exclusive industry expertise allows us to deliver market data to help ensure compensation and position structure is competitive in the marketplace.

How do you communicate progress throughout the search process?

  • We provide written search reports every two weeks outlining the full range of activities undertaken on behalf of the search.
  • Informal telephone and email contacts on a regular ongoing basis as needed.
