Morgan Hunter HealthSearch has an immediate opportunity for an Interim Director of Oncology Service Line with a 300-bed metropolitan hospital located in the central Midwest. The hospital opened a new stand-alone cancer center in February of this year which features a new $4.5 million linear accelerator and a second vault to treat women with gynecological cancers and certain types of breast cancers using brachytherapy. The new center will also feature an infusion therapy suite, a cancer rehabilitation room, an appearance center and boutique, a cantina and a healing garden.

The interim director will oversee a total staff of 38 and report the the Chief Nursing Officer. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree and have three to five years of administrative service line management experience. A nurse with a clinical background is strongly preferred.
