The candidate presents with nearly 30 years of CFO experience within the healthcare industry.  His environments are primarily acute care settings, but has also worked in long-term care.  The facility sizes range from 49 beds to a two-hospital system with 276 beds.  He has worked exclusively as an interim since 2016.

 

Accomplishments include; 1) increased POS collections by $900,000 and decreased net AR days by 16.5% by improving processes within the revenue cycle, 2) implemented and monitored (by serving as Executive Admininstrator) a 340B program, reducing pharmaceutical cost by $303,000, 3) increased cash reserves by $159 million and days cash on hand to 337, 4) led hospital through due dilligence for a reorganization from hospital authority to 501(c)3 non-profit, and 5) 212% jump in five-year average operating margin via operational improvements.

 

The candidate is a CPA, MHA and a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
