The candidate presents with 35 years of nursing experience and eight recent years as an interim leader.  His clinical background encompasses a strong history in emergency and trauma with applicable experience in ICU, critical care and medical-surgical.  As an interim, he has led ER operations with patient volume ranging from 15,000 to 60,000 annual visits and staff sizes spanning from 3 to 110 FTEs (in ED & other departments).

He noted his strengths in developing/monitoring staff productivity, planning/controlling work flow, managing supplies utilization, as well as implementing best practices training (all staff levels) and monitoring regulatory compliance.

He said he approaches an interim engagement as an opportunity to support appropriate clinical behaviors and to enhance nursing practice for the benefit patients and the institution.
